Computerized Electrodermal Stress Analysis (CSA) is used to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of a person’s energetic health and balance. This process involves measuring electrical conductivity at responsive points (acupuncture/meridian points) on the skin – typically on the hands. These measurements are recorded to help provide a profile of a patient’s present condition. The CSA system provides a completely non-invasive method for gaining valuable information about the body’s vital functions. The primary objective of this procedure is to disclose unique patterns of stress and to provide individualized feedback for use in a program to help restore each system and meridian to an appropriate balance.

Lactation Consulting

The Lactation Counselor is a clinical expert in human lactation and breastfeeding. The Lactation Counselor is responsible for providing safe, family centered patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating lactation plans for the mother-infant breastfeeding dyad, as well as for the pumping and formula feeding parent.

Alexis Chum CLC

Our Office Manager, Alexis Chum, has been with Breath of Life since January 2018. Alexis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Missouri State University and brings with her over a decade worth of experience working in the healthcare industry. Alexis prides herself in being the all-important link between provider and patient. She loves to make communication smooth with patients as well as within our office. Whether you’re scheduling your next visit or requesting more information, Alexis plays her part in helping you achieve your health and wellness goals with enthusiasm.

A Springfield native, Alexis lives in Springfield with her husband and cat. Outside of work you will most likely find Alexis reading, watching a British murder mystery on Netflix, or exploring the outdoors with her husband.

Anna Faucett IBCLC

Anna is the mother of five. Her passion for lactation began in 2000 when she attended her first La Leche League meeting with her six weeks old baby. Anna became an LLL leader in 2002. In addition to earning a Master’s Degree in Health Promotion and Wellness Management and an LPN, Anna became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2020. Dr. Nicole McCauley DC, DACCP

Dr. Nicole McCauley is an energetic and passionate speaker who has been a powerhouse within her profession for over fourteen years. A graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic, her passion for chiropractic care, community wellness, and global sustainability is far-reaching and her influence is international.

Along with receiving her Diplomate in pediatric and perinatal chiropractic care, she leads an innovative family focused practice that educates and strengthens her community in Springfield, Missouri.

She has practiced on four continents and currently volunteers with an orphanage in Sierra Leone, West Africa, providing nutrition and healthcare to the children, employees and community of Freetown. The Covering is a 24/7 orphan care facility, home to roughly 100 children and 75 staff members. It serves as a safe haven from sex trafficing and slavery with a goal of restoration for each child and building a secure hope for the future.

Dr. McCauley is a proud Juice plus+ Representative and the founder and CEO of Planting Seeds, a corporation that offers public schools the opportunity to sustainably grow their own produce, utilizing Tower Garden Farms to meet their cafeteria needs and the needs of the food insecure in their community.
